Law affecting real estate transactions in Florida

Florida bill HB 1399 would require the licensing of mold assessors and mold remediators.  This bill passed the House Business Regulation Committee unanimously on March 29, 2007 and goes to the full House Jobs and Entrepreneurship Council. 

What should I do if I think I have a mold problem?

The size of the area affected and the amount of mold you have growing in your property will determine your course of action.  The only sure way to determine this is to have the property tested for abnormal mold conditions.
