This past weekend the Animal Care & Regulation Department of Broward County held an event for folks to come by and visit with the animals, and maybe adopt a pet in need of a home.
With the event over, there are still animals who need our care and love. They have a great website where you can see what dogs or cats are available for adoption. Take a gander and help out a non-human today! http://www.broward.org/animal/ani02300.htm and scroll down to the links of Cats and Dogs.

Behavioral research discloses that human relations at work are just easier, perhaps because they are more regular and predictable and thus simpler to adjust to than the sporadic, the more intense and less regular relationship in the community.
