Adopt a Dog or Cat - Broward Co. Animal Shelter

This past weekend the Animal Care & Regulation Department of Broward County held an event for folks to come by and visit with the animals, and maybe adopt a pet in need of a home.

Hurricane season begins -- are you prepared?

It's that time again here in South Florida. Are you ready for what the season may bring? Do you know what you need to do to prepare, or if a hurricane hits?

Hurricane season is officially from June 1 - November 30th. But, as history has shown, hurricanes, or tropical storms, can hit at any time outside these parameters. August to October is seen as the peak season.

Each year an unbelievable feeding frenzy takes place in the oceans of South Africa, as billions of sardines migrate up the KwaZulu-Natal Coast.  The film captures spectacular breaching whales, feeding sharks, diving gannets, and massive bait balls inside and up close on the giant screen.  Audiences  will delve into an epic underwater struggle for survival and reveal the economic and cultural impact the migration has on the coastal communities.

Pompano Beach's Own Cirque de Soleil!

Cirque Productions, a performing company that is NOT associated with famed Cirque de Soleil but equally energetic, colorful and mesmirising -- will be performing Jungle Dreams starting this Tuesday through Jan. 25th at the Hard Rock Live.

Founded in 1993 Cirque Productions is the first American company to combine the European Cirque arts with broadway and circus arts.
